Therapy

Sometimes we all feel stuck, overwhelmed, or challenged. During those times we need extra support. Counseling can provide just that, a helping hand. Whether you are struggling with something that has recently arisen, or are ready to dive into healing the past, I am here for you. My counseling style supports you in integrating your personal experience with healthy relationships, working to integrate trauma through safely accessing the body, mind and spirit. LGBTQ affirmative and diversity oriented, I aim to address underlying systems of power within and surrounding each of us. In doing so, I work in a way that connects with whatever shows up.

As a somatic psychotherapist, my counseling background stems from a MA in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute (March 2021), and a BA in Psychology and English literature from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

I am accredited in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; a modality that focuses on allowing trauma to be witnessed and released through connecting with the body. I work with an integrative approach, combining evidence-based therapies such as CBT, object-relations and depth psychology, mindfulness, and a somatic focus on trauma and recovery. With previous experience as a school counselor, I love working with children and adolescents. I am also passionate about maternal mental health, and love supporting mothers in during the perinatal time and beyond.

For me, integrative wellness is a way forward. In a world full of tension and polarization, what is arising in you? How can we better tend to your symptoms, situations, and challenges? If you are looking for support of any kind, it would be my honor to accompany you on your journey towards finding greater ease within your own life.
